![]() Crosshair Energy Corporation (NYSE MKT: CXZ) (TSX: CXX) ("Crosshair") is a prominent player in the exploration and development of uranium and vanadium in North America. The Bootheel Project is located in uranium mining friendly Wyoming and has potential for in-situ mining recovery methods. Bootheel hosts an initial NI 43-101 uranium resource estimate of 1.48 M lbs. Indicated (2.1 M tons at 0.036%) and an additional 3.13 M lbs. Inferred (4.0 M tons at 0.039%). The CMB Uranium/Vanadium Project is located in Labrador, Canada. Crosshair has demonstrated the multi-deposit potential of the project by successfully developing four currently defined resources -- C Zone, Area 1, Armstrong and Two Time Zone. All four resources are open for expansion. In 2010, Crosshair completed a Vanadium Resource Expansion Program, with the goal of significantly increasing the vanadium resource. Without any additional drilling, the vanadium resource was increased by approximately 500%. In addition to these North American projects, Crosshair is also investigating a significant uranium exploration opportunity in Argentina. As announced on October 25, 2012, Crosshair has signed a Letter of Intent ("LOI") with Wealth Minerals Ltd. to acquire Wealth's prospective uranium properties in Argentina; a land package encompassing more than 2,600 square miles (685,000 hectares) located in Salta, Catamarca, and Chubut provinces. The concession areas under consideration include the San Jorge Basin properties, Amblayo, and Diamante Los Patos. See our disclaimer for important additional information.
